The clip is worth a click if only to check out some fun facts about Kansas City sci-fi culture . . . In 1976 Kansas City was home to the MidAmeriCon which was a pretty cool fan fest that even included a promo room for Star Wars . . .
Unlike the failed GOP effort this year, the Worldcon bid is a lot more honest, with much more grassroots support and actually seems like a good idea.
