Recruiting efforts to assure better representation across The State Line:
KCK police & fire working toward more diversity - The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department and the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department do not reflect the various races of their city.
Like it or not, the idea rings true and has led to better community relations with law enforcement . . . I'm just not sure where they're gonna find more Guatemalan women working 4 jobs to sign up.

More diversity? We have Mexicans, Chinese, Blacks, Queers, Indians, Russians, drug users, drunks, psychopaths and sadists. So what else do we need? Perhaps A couple of Iranians to keep things interesting? I guess we could start a mounted camel unit.
