Ed Ford actually stating that maybe we don't need to tear it down is almost unbelievable given his past conclusions.

"Fewer than 28 percent of residents had good things to say about the maintenance of streets, sidewalks and other infrastructure. While that was a slight improvement from last year, Schulte said he and the City Council are keenly aware of the city’s shortcomings in that area. 'We’ve got a lot of work to do to meet citizens’ expectations,' he said." No shit! The citizens vote for more funding for streets and it disappears! Schulte is the latest city manager to mouth the same mantra because it's a well-known fact the city uses street funds as their checkbook. Ask PIAC members if you don't believe it.
