"The GOP Leadership’s inability to enact any semblance of substance is insulting to the people of this country. It`s insulting to people who are in Washington because we thought we were here to solve problems. And I`m not a name caller, a bomb thrower, but I can tell you I`m sick and tired of what`s going on here in Congress, because there`s nothing going on. When one person can sicken our entire body politic, maybe sicken unto death, our democracy is in danger."

If congress cannot agree, this means what is being proposed is not good for a majority of the people. Just because it is good for you and your people, does not mean it is good for the American people. Get a grip.

But, at approximately the 6:45 mark in the video, Cleaver says in reference to TX Gov. Perry's statement----"instead of saying Congress, he should say the Republicans in Congress, and call them names..."
So, there you have it, within the span of a few minutes Congressman Cleaver makes the case AGAINST himself and validates the opinion that he's an incompetent name caller, bomb thrower, and very uncivil civil servant.
As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I'm totally flexible.
