CHECK MAYOR SLY'S UPCOMING CITY COUNCIL SLATE OF ALL HIS FAVORITE POLITICOS AND COUNCIL CONTENDERS!!!
Here's a bit of bio on the candidates and their connection to Mayor Sly's future plans . . .
Mayor Sly Just Can't Stop Tweeting About MO State Sen. Jolie Jusus
It's no secret that MO State Sen. Jolie Justus is one of Mayor Sly's faves as their social media twitter love fest has come out for all to see . . . Moreover, open and loving support of Sen. Justus just might be the only way for Mayor Sly to win back all of the Brookside/Waldo liberals he has alienated with his neighborhood strong-arm tactics.
Mayor Sly Has Been Talking Up Crispin Rea
We're not sure if the love affair is mutual but they're Crispin and Mayor Sly are not only using some of the same campaign people . . . They both also wear similar bow ties. Bleh. More importantly, Mayor Sly has been extolling the virtues of Crispin to urban core denizens as a new look for minority representation. Look for a surprise endorsement from Mayor Sly just as soon as the his people check out upcoming campaign finance results to see how serious Quinton Lucas is about working for the job or if he'd rather be a much more beloved law prof.
Theresa Garza Ruiz And Mayor Sly Go Way Back
TGR is front runner to take over the 5th District At-Large seat and she has trained, studied and even lived with Cindy Circo in order to take her place and serve as the newest, latest union connection on the Council. Mayor Sly has long been a fan of Garza Ruiz as evidenced by her hubby Genero's employment and so many smiley social media photos over the years.
Mayor Sly Has A Plan For Jason Hodges
For the most part the Northland has turned against Mayor Sly and now he's relying on former staffer Jason Hodges to work his white guy magic and speak up for the Administration with his own run. Mr. Hodges has earned a lot of experience quickly and has a really agreeable and harmless public persona that the Northland tends to like from their politicos (We're looking at you Scott Wagner). Still . . . This politico is last and least amid upcoming Council election contenders and represents a long shot in Mayor Sly's effort to try and lock up 7 votes on the Council before his next term even starts.
