Target Takes Aim At Kansas Open-Carry

KMBC and a consumer gun rights tidbit: "As the new open-carry gun law in the state of Kansas takes effect, Target is asking its customers to leave their guns at home."

  1. Oh yes because target is super safe. Ask the family of Kelsy Smith who was abducted from Target and murdered, or ask the many victims of the Ward Parkway shootings who were killed by a Target employee.

  2. If they don't want guns in their store why do the call it Target?

  3. Gun owners should be shopping at Wal Mart anyway.

No one connects the dot of Kelsey Smith's tragic incident with the gun issue dumb shit.

Tide is turning on the NRA zealots. But you watch, Wayne Lapierre will use it as justification to go out and buy, buy, buy more guns and ammo because Hillery and Chelsea are coming for stockpile.

  9. There's a big difference between open carry and concealed carry. CCW folks pass a background check, take a class and get licensed. Open carry folks have small penises and didn't get enough attention from mommy when they were little.

  10. Heaven forbid we have a touch of sanity in this world. Like anyone needs to tote a fucking gun 24/7. Get a grip people, it will only mean more gunplay not less.

Isn't this pretty much a moot point, I mean for fucks sake the country is just about fully armed these days isn't it?

Assuming everyone you meet on the roads, restaurants, ballgames, school plays and wherever else is packing is just part of being an American these days.

How many years away (if any, I don't know) are we from a guy being able to manufacture a fully functional automatic weapon at home with a 3D printer and firing pin? Like I said, I don't know , but I'd imagine the affordable tech is around the corner.

    Should be interesting times ahead.

  14. You don't need a 3D printer to make a gun. You can make one in your basement with just a few small machine shop tools.

Anyway, why would you name your company Target and use the imagery of one if you weren't into guns.

  15. I won't bring a gun into Target if they promise not to fuck up my credit card.
