While Jimmy C is normally a total moron, he is right about A-7. But in the shit heel state, you can expect the dumb ass crowd to vote yes thinking they are getting a new, free 8 lane interstate to their chicken barn. Stupid rubes.

If I could vote "Fuck NO" on this I would, but since I can't, it will just have to be "NO."
ReplyDeleteThe tax won't pass.
ReplyDeleteAll the anti-tax folks around the state will vote against it, and the social services types hate the idea of a regressive sales tax paying for roads.
That pretty much leaves the heavies and contractors who will make money off the deal, and they're not a majority.
Raise the gas tax and give it another try before I-70 completely collapses.
Why not make 70 a toll road like it used to be. Drive I-35 to Oklahoma, a toll road but no pot holes and in states with half the population of Missouri.
