SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY STAR PLAYS TRAGIC PATRONAGE POLITICAL POLLING GAME WITH TOY TRAIN STREETCAR SHADY NUMBERS!!!

I've never been so happy to blog political propaganda published by the Kansas City Star because I know it's dead wrong and I'm gonna slap them with it (HARD) in just a few days.

Check it:

Streetcar leads in poll, but campaign too close to call

In other words, they don't know but it gets even worse . . .

"The poll — by Remington Research Group, affiliated with local consultant Jeff Roe — shows 51 percent of those surveyed support establishing a streetcar district. Forty-three percent are opposed, with six percent undecided."

JEFF ROE??? LOL. This is just fun . . .

The Star is so out of if that they're going with paid consultant propaganda rather than doing even a modicum of research.

Remember that we told readers about REAL TOY TRAIN LOSING IN THE POLLING DONE PREVIOUSLY and that sent shockwaves through the mayor's staff of paid acolytes.

More . . . Let's not forget Jeff Roe has a lot to gain from a toy train streetcar victory that starts with more gigs like his Kansas City Zoo Forever Tax promo and ongoing Mayor Sly affiliation.

But here's what's really disappointing . . .

THE KANSAS CITY STAR HAS NOW RESORTED TO PLAYING MACHINE POLITICS AND SERVING AS MAYOR SLY'S PR OUTLET!!!

RELATED: KANSAS CITY STAR JUST ENDORSED THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR!!!

And they wonder why all of their co-workers are getting canned . . .

Again, this is just good fun a sign that most of KC news is simply paid political content.

Developing . . .

  1. It's "Exclusive" so it must be correct

  2. Opponents are losing ground from last poll by playing fast and loose with the facts like that guy today who said on the radio the sales tax at Costco is 13.7% I know that is wrong and he admitted it when questioned by the radio host. He had a few good points but that basic distortion undermined everything else he said.

  3. The only poll that counts is held on August the 5th.

    VOTE GODDAMNIT

    ReplyDelete
  4. On line polls are a joke. Any streetcar supporter geek who knows what he is doing with computer software can vote an unlimited amount of times on these farce electronic polls.

  5. I see NO signs all over the place where are the Yes signs?

  6. Keep punching Tony. Get 'em into deep water.

  7. VOTE NO..NO..NO..ON EVERYTHING

  8. Remington Research Groups automated telephone surveys. Right like we can rely on this data for truth?

    Vote NO

  10. Toy train endorser The Star must have sent their enforcers into Kraske and Helling's offices recently.

  11. Star just vomited more bullshit within the past half hour.

  12. Between the Star's "facts," their online poll (unscientific and open to everyone,) and the auto-generated emails I've been getting from Sly James begging me to vote for streetcar with half truths and assumptions, a failure of Question A can only be interpreted as the biggest victory for Kansas City neighborhood advocates over the urbanist elites that think they own this city.

I've been reading a lot of skeptical tweets from @KCMidtowner and @TransActionKC lately; both early advocates for #kcstreetcar. They're getting an early dose of what could soon be all of Kansas City's prescription; the streetcar not living up to it's promises and confiscating money from their projects to cover all the additional costs that were intentionally not calculated in the total cost figures of the streetcar project.

Your bike lanes? Those went to ADA compliant curbs. Your bus expansion? That went to securing the federal match. Your upgraded storm drain? That went to utility relocation on Main Street. Your new police hires? That went to additional street lights on Independence Avenue and Linwood.

    And so it goes...

    ReplyDelete
  13. hey Bryan, dumb fuck, we don't give a shit about no god damn bike lanes.

  14. Won't cry at all when the newspaper shuts down.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Fuck you, Sly James - we are SHUTTING DOWN your stupid streetcar on August 5.

    ReplyDelete
  16. This is the Star's second endorsement of the Streetcar expansion. Which makes it something else entirely

    ReplyDelete
  17. We need a new paper in this town

    ReplyDelete
  18. The Star loves sucking nigger dick.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The star the beej and the star again. Three meaningless editorials read exclusively by northlanders, Johnson county residents and the crew at 12th and Oak.

Don't you chucklefucks know that the blacks don't read?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Quit reading, buying or paying any attention to the Star.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Vote no to sex with any TKC commenter.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As irresponsible a financial mess this project was itself, the whole thing has turned into an absolute feeding frenzy for pollsters, consultants, and door-to-door get out the vote hucksters in the final days before the election.
Does anyone have any idea have many millions of tax dollars have been thrown away on this joke?
A handful of people and a few companies have made big bucks on this and Sly and the gang are completely responsible for the screwing of the taxpayers/residents.
Not the "legacy" Sly had in mind, although KCMO will likely remember him for a very long time.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Slow down, take a deep breath. Roe's polls right before the election in the past are worthless. This thing ain't even close. He doesn't have a clue how to poll in the city. Never has.

    ReplyDelete
  24. In a few days, I hope you do SLAP them hard TKC!

They're weak and growing weaker, so have no mercy, be factual but brutally honest....SLAP...SLAP...SLAP!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, it passes and you bitch.

It's defeated, and I told you I said so.

reading this blog is becoming like listening to the arguments made by my ex-wife's attorney.

Course, at least she let it go after the case was settled.

Not here. In the stages of loss, most here can't get pass "denial".

And one wonders why a cum-rape guy and a bigot bear are the leading stars in this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Watch your back, Tony. If you don't think you're making some powerful enemies, think again. There are repercussions to everything in politics, and the amount of money or power involved is the determining factor of how severe those repercussions are. I hope the "no" votes resound throughout the city and the fine work you've done publicizing this patronage boondoggle and fraud on the voters is validated on election day. I hope you continue to have the courage to stand up to this shitheel mayor, his flunkies, thinly-veiled payoffs and benefits to corporations at the expense of the citizens, and to the worthless joke, The Star. That's real journalism, whether one agrees with your positions or not. But please be sure you look both ways before crossing the street.

    ReplyDelete
  27. 9:48 guess what....bigot bear is fucking your x-wife.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It's just the opposite, most blacks are against the streetcar district and most whites are for it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kraske and helling are hacks and panders. They haven't stayed around by telling the public the truth about our politicians.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Uncle Cracker7/28/14, 10:28 PM

Whenever Tony posts that pic of a white arms playing with a train set all I can think of is "pop the black head" white people only play with trains when they are kids, black kids parents couldnt afford a toy train, now when you get a grown up black kid (who sucked dick enough to be mayor) is now playing with trains and about to fuck you over with it, I guess payback is a bitch huh?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Really 956. How would you know that?

Man I have been bitch slapped.

Honestly, the smack on middle school bathroom is more cleaver than this.

    ReplyDelete
  32. BTW its not a train( its a

  34. Somebody teach that guy how to dress. Still a train to me choo choo, choo.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 9:55 - tony isn't afraid of you and your veiled threats. Go fuck yourself, "Editor," along with Sly James. You likely are a paper thrower for that loser rag The KC Star.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Where's the Jeff Roe "fat fuck" guy on this one?

That, and his skinny pic in the worn out collar fat shirt ain't gettin' it....

New shirts please.... And a Double Windsor if ya can't tie one correctly. Damn....

    ReplyDelete
  37. When are we going to hear from Mirriam Pepper... Ex of the Star Editorial Board? Now that she has been squashed, she has plenty of time on her hands. Talk to us Mirriam :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anything that has anything to do with that fat, fuck Roe, is useless and tiresome.
