The New York Times Editorial Board reminds us that the economic boom and grown that was promised by Kansas GOP economists simply didn't materialize - Kansas’ Ruinous Tax Cuts - "There was only one reason for the state’s plummeting revenues, and that was the spectacularly ill-advised income tax cuts that Mr. Brownback and his fellow Republicans engineered in 2012 and 2013. The cuts, which largely benefited the wealthy, cost the state 8 percent of the revenue it needs for schools and other government services. As the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities noted, that’s about the same as the effect of a midsize recession. Moody’s cut the state’s debt rating in April for the first time in at least 13 years, citing the cuts and a lack of confidence in the state’s fiscal management."
Cue the "Oh, the NY Times, they're a liberal Commie rag" crowd. Then they won't read the article or counter the numbers with anything to dispute them. It's all facts and math. It's no difficult. But Rush says the Times is liberal so that's your answer.

Yes, the missing $300 million is a liberal plot. The cuts to basic services, like education, also a liberal plot. The liberal agenda is, uh, something.... Bad? That's why we hate them. $300 million is just a road bump.

Why didn't brownback get to vote in a rigged election that's easier to participate in than a regular election and that everyone knew abt when Kansas City is named kansas and thus joco should get to decide. The rich have never been richer than they are now. Not even in the middle ages in the times of the peasants and lords. Wake the fuck up people. You're giving away everything you have to benefit the wealthy. This thing about the poor taking it, that's a false flag. The poor are a bunch of mooches, yes, but as a percentage of total outlay and cost, the rich are 100x worse than the poor.
