American Muslim Political Action Committee leader MD Alam is stepping up his Jackson County presence as the primary election approaches.
Remember that MD was at the center of controversy in his last election attempt . . .
Nevertheless, he won the national spotlight last year for his Million Muslim March that earned attention from all the major news networks.
Now, Mr. Alam is hosting some of the local elite politicos in a family style gathering where discussion of political ideas and neighborhood issues aren't top priority.
Mr. Alam sent this photo our way in order to reveal that some of this town's top power players have taken time to break bread @ his family gatherings.
That's Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders in the middle of this pic along side Jackson County hopeful Tony Miller.
It looks like a fun time . . . We obscured the images youngsters in this clip because, obviously they're not political but we don't blame Mr. Alam for being just a bit proud of this important family gathering.
It's certainly a nice change from the more tense subject of recent Gaza conflict that Mr. Alam has also addressed online.

300 million of the 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, actively support terrorism. I suspect that another 300 million are ok with a "No Snitching" approach radical violence. The 600 million or so that do NOT support terrorism are irrelevant. Who gives a fuck?

Organizers at the group American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) didn't exactly do a lot to engender sympathy for an event held on one of the most emotionally charged days of the year. The group is led by M.D. Rabbi Alam, a professed 9/11 truther who has pushed controversial anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about the attacks.

ReplyDeleteThere are questions we must ask about Islam and its relationship to the West. These questions must be asked and answered objectively without the interference of economic agendas or the censorship of Political Correctness and that main question is: is Islam a threat to Western Civilization? The inconvenient truth, if I may borrow a phrase, is YES. Western Civilization is about development growth and creativity. The West builds cathedrals and universities and Islam destroys them. There are parallels between the relationship of people from Islamic countries and the West and between the barbarians and Rome. The barbarians did not storm the gates of Roman, they were let in and they were used and exploited by Roman politicians. In the end the barbarians could not be controlled and brought down the Roman Empire because one day, the barbarians were the Romans in power and that is when Rome fell. In trying to manipulate the radical Islamists, the American politicians are playing with fire. I recall what Edward Gibbon said in The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire: “The Romans became less afraid of the barbarian they did not know and more afraid of the tax collector they did know.”
There is also an issue of political correctness involved in any examination of Islam. Political Correctness is a scourge that the Left has inflicted on all dialogue and free speech for the last thirty years. It has transformed the American universities from centers of leaning to centers of indoctrination. Are any or all examinations of Islam that are not favorable, simply bigoted or worse, Islamaphobic? Should all people who question the goodness of Islam or the immigration of people from Islamic countries be dismissed as a bunch of knuckle dragging xenophobes, atavists and racists? The Left in this country would have you believe so. I feel that all these questions and issues are open to questioning and dialogue which are two activities the Left does not approve of or engage in.
