Here's the money quote on the topic of budget cutting from our favorite physician running for office who has already shocked many with his medical insight . . .

Dr. Milton Wolf: "You could start cutting across the board. Look how many families and businesses in Kansas have had to make do with less. And I'm certain our government can do that. We can find that in healthcare. We can find the wasted spending. And a lot of that comes from the wasted work they make us do that doesn't do anything to serve a patient. So why don't we remove that waste? Which removes some of the cost. And these are substantial costs believe it or not. Take for example in my mammography practice, I'm a radiologist. A large part of my practice is mammography. For example, I do breast biopsies. 

Kraske: "Yeah." 

Dr. Milton Wolf: 'Well they make us jump through a whole lot of hoops before doing these biopsies in ways that are not beneficial to the patient. Why don't we cut some of that which cuts the expense?"

That quote inspired just a bit of social media snickering . . .
