Fox4KC reports a horrific local industrial accident: A railway worker died Monday morning at a rail yard near I-635 and Kansas Ave., when he fell into a car full of grain. According to the Kansas City, Kan. Fire Dept., the man sunk to the bottom of the train car and he died before crews could reach him.
