Did Roeland Park Do The Right Thing By Rejecting LGBT Equal Rights?!?!

Local headlines seem to indicate that suburban intolerance is on the rise.

Now it's up to you d-bags . . .

DID ROELAND PARK DO THE RIGHT THING LAST NIGHT???

Resources . . .

Pitch: Gays still don't deserve equal rights under the law, Roeland Park City Council decides

Fox4KC: The vote came two-and-a-half hours after the passionate pleas of dozens of supporters.

KSHB: Nearly 200 people packed a community room for a city ordinance that would protect people based on sexual identity and gender.

You decide . . .

there are already state and federal laws that answer any concerns. This is just gay mafia grandstanding and another attempt to force their 'SUPER MINORITY LIFESTYLE" on a majority that has grown tired of the gay drama queens.

Butt bumping queers lost. Let them start their own state. Perhaps off the coast of Africa. Take the boon's with them.

As a gay man and a gay journalist I've got to say that I am outraged at the decision.

They just lost the entire gay garage sale customer base.

You seem nice.

"Suburban intolerance" to Tony = the silent majority.

Be careful 4:22; when you're that adamant, others may think you've got some supressed feelings you need to deal with.

Equal rights for YA at te star, mincing over to Trio.

Roeland Park is facing tremendous problems without this one. With Walmart moving out, they are gonna lose a significant portion of their tax base, and the city has already made plans to cut services.
The city didn't need the additional trouble and expense for a meaningless city ordinance.
