Finally, a bit of confirmation that Democracy is mostly about buying votes . . . AP: The campaign of Democratic governor candidate Paul Davis raised $1.1 million since January to top the $2 million mark for the election cycle.

Brownback is part of a secretive extremist Roman Catholic organization, Opus Dei. Google Brownback Opus Dei and read all about it. Opus Dei people do bizarre and extreme stuff, like whipping themselves. Literally. They are a far-right international conspiracy of the most dangerous and theocratic kind, a Taliban for Christians. They recruited Brownback, who used to be a Protestant. It's why he doesn't talk about his own religious belief.
