BLUNT BLAST SPARKS RAGE AND VA 'WAIT LIST' CONTROVERSY HITS KANSAS CITY!!!

Call it Republican red meat gamesmanship or maybe the most tragic instance of Obamacare failing Kansas City veterans.

Check it:

KMBZ: According to a news release from Blunt's office, they recently received a letter from the Director of the Veterans Affairs (VA) Heartland Network (VISN) 15 detailing several Missouri facilities where veterans waited for care for longer than 90 days. The letter noted two facilities in VISN-15 had “unauthorized lists” that “placed veterans at risk.”

Blunt: Kansas City VA Medical Center admits to unauthorized waiting lists

KMBC: Sen. Roy Blunt says the Veterans Affairs medical center in Kansas City, Missouri, has been maintaining a secret waiting list of veterans, the latest of several centers around the country to maintain such an unauthorized list.

  1. The KC VA Medical Center recieved a 10 million dollar cutback at the end of 2011. Why does Roy Blunt seem so surprised? Did Roy not make it to the meeting the day they announced cutbacks at the Kansas City Veterans Hospital?

  2. Again, they are conducting a superficial and cursory investigation into the goings on at the VA. I personally am 8 months into a situation where I have no diagnosis from the VA and continue to suffer. They run me to death from department to department for chats and and bullshit while they do nothing except stall. The inattention and incompetence is insane. The idea that a waiting list is up to 90 just shows that the politicians have noi idea how long it is really taking. They really need some experts investigating.

I know Veterans who are suffering and can't get the VA off it's collective ass to do anything after months and months. My experience has been that when you complain of symptoms there is virtually no follow up and when there is the time for care is stretched out so long that often symptoms will disappear and then come back later starting the entire process all over. This VA is a professional team of wheel spinners. If Congress allows these sonzabitches to get away with and continue this shit I hope some crazy mother fuckjer starts blowing up these god damn VA facilities. This is a national shame and it is way past time for this bullshit to stop.

  4. Another trick they use is to enter "Patient Refused Procedure" on things like colonoscopys and other system required periodic tests. Sine about 95 percent of the patients will never know this has happened or that these periodic preventative screenings are required. For example an average patient who has been going to the VA for a year may have 400-500 pages of journal entries in his record. Trust me damn near no one is reading all this bullshit. This doesn't include labs and other tests so the patient never reads all the lies and shit that is put in his own medical record just to cover someones ass. When I started reading mine I damn near had a cow at all the shit in my record that were bold face lies. These Congressional clowns have no clue and haven't even scratched the surface of the serious issues at the VA

  5. Roy Blunt couldn't even find the VA hospital in Kansas City if he was accompanied by a guide and a map.
    What a phony opportunist!

  6. The VA hospitals are fucked up. And the Republicans are the ones who fucked them up.

  7. ...and 535 politicians in both sides of the isle are going to make sure they stay fucked up.

  8. Blunt and the rest of the GOP types in congress have known about the VA for a long time.

But there's no money in it so Congress didn't even bring it up. THey were too busy fighting Obamacare and each other, shutting down the gumment, cuttinng food stamps etc.

Don't fall for any of this crap about Republicans now wanting something done. I expect every congressional office has had letters and calls from vets on waiting lists.

I don't believe their indignancy for so much as a single second!!

They just want you to think the're wearing white hats, when in fact, they're wearing white sheets. Beein goin on since Obama won the nomination the first time.

As Mitch McConnell from KENTUCKY said, 'we have one purpose, to make Obama a one term president."

They weren't secret about their plan... they obstructed the gumment and the recovery, just to make him look bad.

  9. If what you have to say is true, get it with your documentation to the press. If not - shut the fuck up

  10. You want documentation asshole? Roy Blunt is verified as the corrupt congressman in politics today. The burden of proof is on you dick weed.

  11. So what's the republican plan for the VA? Just look to the Ryan budget for clues. The house already voted for it, it cuts funding for the VA by 40%, calls for closing half of the hospitals and clinics.
Hard to have secret wait lists for a closed clinic. See? The republicans have a solution!

  12. How about actually fully staffing a V.A. hospital with more nurses. God Bless the Nurses!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Fuck having more nurses. Half the problem is incompetent nurse practitioners who think they are fucking brain surgeons and barely know how to treat the sniffles.
