"I walked on the Town of Kansas Bridge (by the city market) for the first time last weekend. Had no idea it existed. When I got to the lookout point at the end of the boardwalk it was vandalized with UAW 249 stickers. I attached two pictures but there are 100s of these UAW booster stickers covering the beautiful ironwork. They should choose to advertise elsewhere."

Like it or not, Kansas City has always been a "union town" for better or worse and this is yet another sign of this fact . . .

ReplyDeleteThere are many whites, in the Union, that are lazy, worthless fucks that just bilk the system. They get in the Union, pay their dues, and then wait on cush jobs that pay much more than what the Mexicans work for.
When on the job, these Union deadbeats do little work, while knowing they can't be fired. This goes on all over the metro, Ford and GM plants, anywhere Unions operate. Unions are the white's answer to "welfare". A crutch used to "NOT WORK".
Rail on this all you want. The Bear could give a flying fuck. The TRUTH hurts and Unions have ruined this country. Look at the steel industry, auto industry bankrupt, airlines bankrupt. The list goes on and on. Want to go out of business....let the Union in. Look at the FD. That's a perfect example. Fucking douche bags waste millions of taxpayer dollars paying people that have one leg in the grave, kicking dirt with the other. If you can't keep within your budget, call the Union. They can help you spend millions and billions over your budget.

The union is anti-obama. The healthcare thing is killing them. The unions in town have been getting more people since 2008 going in for more training and certifications. There are many jobs for higher trained union workers. Not many people can do the apprenticeships or pass the tests. I suppose they are like the military and training, how the military trains forever. Pre-2008, you couldn't get workers to come in and do mandatory safety training. They wouldn't even try to go to more school and more training programs. The new union worker that is successful does specialist work that very few people can do. I honestly do not know if the majority of union workers that are not in specialty work are too lazy, lacking in ambition or not bright enough to pass the tests. There is plenty of work if you care enough to try and get skills.
