The Great Roeland Park Tranny Debate!!!

Bored white people in a Kansas City suburb are fighting about an equal rights ordinance with little to know real world impact . . .

Here's the ANOTHER OVERWRITTEN BIT analysis from The Pitch:

A Roeland Park equal-rights ordinance takes a hit from a dubious hired gun

Deets . . .

"The opposition's unofficial legal representative, Dale Schowengerdt, was permitted to speak for 10 minutes about why the ordinance spelled bad news for the city.

Schowengerdt is not a Roeland Park resident. He received his law degree from the Pat Robertson-founded Regent University School of Law. He provides legal counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom, a family-values organization that exists mostly to oppose abortion rights and equal rights to gay people."

This as a news story back on May 7th so I'm not sure what The Pitch is reporting here . . . LAST NIGHT ROELAND PARK DELAYED THE VOTE YET AGAIN . . .

Funny . . . TKC went to high school with the guy . . . I don't really remember him and I'm sure the feeling is mutual . . . Read the screed and discover these same protections aren't used much in KCMO where our population of trannies is much more substantial . . . Still, the fight for Tranny rights in the burbs makes for another great instance for (self)righteous indignation over "news" that many suburbanites are probably intolerant.

Can't Roeland Park just get back to having garage sales and mowing their lawns?

Usually laws are enacted to respond to a problem that has arisen. Has there been a problem of Roeland Park employers discriminating against people based on sexual orientation? Or is this yet another preemptive law addressing what COULD happen, because we certainly don't have enough laws already?

Wow, this is an ugly, ugly post, followed by ugly, ugly, ugly comments. I highly doubt that even transgender people who like the t word would be affirming of your use of it here. And for everyone in the comments who wants us all fags thrown in the Missouri river, you realize you are in no way a liberal person, right?
