Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph to Pay for Failure to Report Abuse

Deets:

"A Roman Catholic diocese in Missouri has been ordered to pay $1.1 million to victims of sexual abuse for breaking its promises on improving the way it deals with abuse cases.

An arbitrator ruled that the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph is responsible for damages after concluding that, contrary to a prior agreement, it did not promptly report a priest who had taken hundreds of pornographic photographs of young girls, according to a filing in circuit court in Jackson County, Mo."

  1. God Damn this pedophile Catholic church! Where is the shame? Where are the criminal convictions for essentially protecting and shielding these low life scum? This should be considered a capital crime.

  4. This cancer just keeps eating it's host.

A communist pope and a pederast clergy in combination with an ossified theology that refuses to acknowledge that priests should be allowed to marry, will result in the death of what is already a moribund religion as we knew it.

Probably a good thing. I am still pissed off about the Friday meat thing guilt I carried for a decade. If you can get all those folks out of hell on an reverse ex post facto arbitrary exculpatory "It's ok to eat meat on Friday now" then just say it's ok to let priests marry.

  5. If nothing else, it should be ok for priests to marry in the South East Conference.

  6. Know where all this money comes from? It comes from the Sunday collection plate.
You really think that extra collection is "for our sister parish in Spain" ?????
NO. It's for paying off huge pedophile lawsuits and such.

  7. Where are the indictments for the teachers and staff of the school? They had a legal obligation to report the abuse but instead enabled the creepy priest and the diocese.

  11. 8:09 They did report suspicious behavior to the diocese A YEAR before any action was taken. They did, at the time, what was policy. How are they to blame?
