Bright side . . . There's a bit of hope here given that community outrage sparked tips in a recent case where a 10 year-old kid took a bullet in the spine . . . This crime remains one of Kansas City most horrific and the effort to keep the story in the news is worthwhile . . .

ReplyDeleteThere are many hundreds of victims whose murderers will never be brought to justice because of a lack of evidence and cooperation with the police.
Instead of endless vigils, you'd think by now it would be time to change the status quo, but there's no evidence of that happening anytime soon.
What did the most recent "summit meeting" accomplish?
I'm guessing these murders were personal. Probably the baby-daddy or someone close in her life. Cops probably know who did it but don't have enough evidence to arrest. C'mon black community, here's your chance. I bet no fewer than 25 people know who did it and you always claim you want to make your neighborhoods better so here's your chance. Again. ReplyDeleteBecause rallies and vigils have always solved crimes in Kansas City; and combined with the fact that this mother and daughter have been dead for nearly a year with, or more, and there's been no more leads or resolution than from a year ago. Don't forget but somebody saw exactly what happened.

ReplyDeleteI think this crime was personal. Is is it just me or are we now killing kids as revenge chips? That is pretty low, even for gangbangers. Oh well, they will always have more, many more, about 3 years apart to get 25 years of payments and some section 8 housing. Do you think the funeral home got paid for this? I doubt. Very sad.
