Once GSA moves into Two Pershing Square and their 800 employees start riding the streetcar to work from parking in the City Market, which is what GSA projects they will do, where are those 800 cars going to park? Parking in the City Market area is already a cluster f*#k for those of us who actually work there.

    One more scheme that will drive even more business out of KCMO and over the bridge to Kansas.

  7. Following the links from this blog, I read that the new development must provide parking for residents/tenants AND the same number of public parking spaces that the project would eliminate. Anybody else read that?

  8. The plan is to give away the land plus incentives in exchange for a parking garage. I would bet somebody has already made a proposal and this RFP is just window dressing.
