ReplyDeleteIf he was such a great lawyer, he wouldn't want to be on the Jackson County legislature. Folks don't know or understand the type of lawyers who give up a seemingly great lawyering gig to be a County Legislature. This tells me one thing... he has no talent and can be pushed around by the same names and groups of people who left the office to begin with and will leave in a similar fashion. Hanging around with Freedom, Inc trolls does nothing positive for his reputation. If he had any smarts at all he'd run the opposite direction. Likely, he'll learn the hard way like Rev. Bishop Felon James Tindall. Hasn't the East side had enough of these types? Getting over on titles and the prestige of others with no real accolades to speak of. How many times are we going to play this game?

ReplyDeleteThe ONLY question for Freedom Inc. is how much money any candidate will have to give them to get their "endorsement", which is worth pretty much nada, given the fact that in the last mayoral election the TOTAL turnout in the Third District was 5000 votes.

ReplyDeleteAlfred is a good guy and a good attorney. I know him and don't have any complaints. I'm not a fan of Freedom, Inc. and I'm sure they are waiting to cash in on the favors he'll undoubtedly owe. Nonetheless, I think he's the best candidate.
