Kansas City is still in shock from yet another violent weekend that our KICK-ASS BLOG COMMUNITY reported FIRST.
As always, there's some silly-ass racial blaming but our MOST AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS provide an unfiltered look at the chaos in one KCMO party district last night.

"The Plaza was quiet so we went by Westport last night. The Black people weren't the problem. Here's a video of a white dude after he got in a fight and then got himself arrested."

So, what have we learned??? Well, stereotypes from commenters aren't always accurate. Moreover, the problem with violence that Kansas City faces is no longer confined to people scared of African-American teens and really represents a breakdown in basic values and human decency. Also, drunks are getting harder to deal with in Kansas City while politicos focus on development and party culture without paying much attention to public safety, infrastructure or neighborhoods outside of the toy train route.

ReplyDeletefunny how skewed this video is. i was outside kellys and the guy was fighting with some bouncers. the bouncers didnt press charges and the guy was let go. the problem down there was about 600 people standing outside of the bars blocking teh streets and sidewalks. as fights would break out everyone would run trampling people and blocking cars.

First of all, it's TWO white guys fighting each other. The next time I see a black guy fight fair will be the first time. Next, when the fight is over, it's over. It is just a fist fight. Usually nobody dies. No bullets flying through the air killing people. Nobody said all white people are perfect. Some get liquored up and fight but that's all it is, a fight.
