Frankly, TKC isn't really concerned with the antics of Dead Tree Media given that KSHB vs. KMBC are fighting for news domination while KCPT and KCUR dominate the analysis and perspective side for the intelligentsia (about two or three dozen locals) ... Watching the Star circle the toilet bowl of history is really nothing more than good fun.
Also . . . For those of us who know how use our browser settings (incognito) that Star's paywall never really applied.
Still . . . It's interesting to see yet another Kansas City Star biz decision turn out horribly wrong.

The Star seems to be more supportive of business interests than common citizen interests. We've just grown apart I guess.

ReplyDeleteI will agree that I'd rather watch and listen to opinion and editorial on KCPT and KCUR than read about a week later in The Star.
It won't matter a lot when at least 75% of the articles won't allow comments.
