TV News bring an important story this afternoon regarding another local contradiction . . . Apparently, this town isn't as "bike friendly" as we were led to believe . . .
KCTV5: "A man riding a bicycle told police that was struck by a city vehicle, and the driver fled the scene, Kansas City police said Wednesday afternoon."
And as the Summer approaches, this might be bad news if City Hall employees have stopped sleeping on the job and now take to the streets seeming a bit cranky . . .
Developing . . .
Thats no surprise lol! if the city employee moron stopped it wouldnt have mattered (the city would have swept it under the rug) there is a "cap" on the amount of how much in damages a citizen victim of KC could ever get. Fire trucks can run over your mom and the most your family could ever get would be 200K!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what a tax paying citizen could recover in a city (and not this one) that was wronged by a city government that displayed a actually responsible attitude those kinda actions.
There isnt one!...why? Because if it doesnt directly effect you, then you could care less...that's why!, and that is also why politicians get by with what they do! Ya know all those same things most of you continue to bitch about on this blog, but since it doesn't necessarily effect you directly you just bitch about it and do NOTHING to fix it! SO FUCK YOU!
ReplyDeleteWhys it have to be a fire truck. Any city vehicle would do the same. I will take ur word for the 200k but i think it is 250k. The city is self insured thats their restrictions you dont like them call the people who can change those.
ReplyDeleteLet's get a hold of the traffic cam videos for the area including and surrounding the crash site... and then hunt down the bastard who left the scene of an accident.
ReplyDeleteIt would probably show the entitled cyclist made the whole thing up because a motorist got within 10 feet of him.
ReplyDeleteThey were in fear of their lives
ReplyDeleteKilla City has a bounty out on Hipsters....
ReplyDeleteSounds like he missed the bicyclist. Better luck next time.
