Interesting tidbit regarding alternative money this morning send our way by KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS keeping a keen eye on changing financial times in this cowtown.

Check it:

Highland Park Builders Pleased To Announce Participation In Large Bitcoin Transaction For Custom Home Sale

"We sold a custom-built home priced in the mid $500s as a Bitcoin transaction. Highland Park Builders is a home building company located in Johnson County, Kansas. We believe this to be one of the first of these transactions in the Real Estate Industry. We were able to complete this transaction thanks to the cooperation of BitPay. They gave us the support we needed to set up an account and make this home sale a reality."

Again, that's a pretty big deal for a newbie currency that has both fierce critics and enthusiastic supporters . . . Either way, this local real estate deal STILL seems more solid and safter than the TIF giveaway that has found favor @ City Hall.

Developing . . .

You watch, someone or some company will ultimately take a really big fucking from this "Bitcoin" scam. Yes, scam! That's all it is.

Sly needs to combine streetcar promises with BitCoin funding. A match made in heaven for KCMO, the innovation capital of the USA!

I went to school with Tim Hoelting and he is another silver spoon fed geek who has had it all handed to him via Daddy. He grew up in one of the largest homes in western Lenexa across from Shawnee Mission Park. Always claimed his Dad built there so everyone going to park always saw the house and knew who lived there.

I'm surprised it's still around around after all the recent major crashes and frauds uncovered around this fake currency.

But the greater fool theory is apparently alive and well.

Mr. Tony,
BitCoins are not the wave of the financial future.

So who is this fiscally ridiculous man? Does he have real money? If so, he sounds like a great mark.... Oh excuse me, I meant man, he sounds like a great man!

The largest bitcoin colocation datacenter company in the world is located in downtown KCMO.

I know because I work there.

So KC is an innovation center. No thanks to the KCMO government.
