KANSAS CITY RED LIGHT CAMERA THREAT: FRONT FACE DRIVER STREET SPYING COMING SOON IF COURTS DON'T COMPLY!!!
Here's a look at the quick erosion of freedom in Kansas City, Missouri . . .
READ BETWEEN THE LINES . . . IF COURTS DON'T GET ON BOARD WITH CURRENT RED LIGHT CAMERAS THEN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI PREPARES TO SPY INTO LOCAL CARS AND TAKE PHOTOS OF DRIVER'S FACES ON LOCAL STREETS!!!
Here's a perspective that's actually quite astute and advises locals not to push their opposition too far . . . Check it:
Lesser Of Two Evils For Some Opponents Of Red Light Cameras
I am a supporter of red light cameras. It was an initiative of Mayor Barnes'.
See this editorial on Star website for tomorrow's paper.
Basically what it says if the Missouri Senate doesn't pass the bill to fix the legal problems outlined by the courts, cities like KC can start up the program again, but they will to have a camera in front of the car taking a photo of the driver and EVERYONE in the car so a ticket can be issued to the driver and points assessed just like if a police officer pulls someone over for running a red light.
So if you hate cameras, this legislation is the lesser of two evils for them.

Call it a Kansas city compromise...
ReplyDeleteJeez Glazer must be packing Tony's nose tonight.
ReplyDeleteNah, people who use coke usually talk about themselves. This is about KCMO at least. TKC probably just went off his OCD medication and we're benefiting with more links and news. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!!!
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahahahaaha!
And Tony is too fat to be doing cocaine or meth. Lulz!
ReplyDeleteSugar high?
ReplyDeleteSo KC is now playing the spying game. That won't work out well.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it takes to keep the clueless masses off balance.
ReplyDeleteSo if you are going down the road with her girlfriend instead of your wife and run a red light, the ticket goes to your house. So there is a photo of you and her. Hope the wife doesn't open the mail that day !!!
ReplyDeleteMight want to pass that bill and go back to the old system.
Kind of hard on Tony. If you went to Facebook and started trashing the founder guy he'd delete you.
ReplyDeleteSo KC what are you going to do when the legislature simply makes it illegal to use any camera for the enforcement of traffic infractions? Learn to live within your means KC. Fair warning!!!
ReplyDeleteProblem Solved With 2 Words:
ReplyDeleteGOT BURQA?
Keep your visor down and you will be fine!!
ReplyDeleteSince when does a City tell the State of Missouri what to do? Has Sly James overstepped his bounds? I mean he's taking this whole "I'm Mayor of Kansas City" crap way too far.
ReplyDeleteGET OVER IT! The red light cams WILL come back on and they WILL see what you do at intersections. If you're not breaking the law, you won't care 'cause you won't get a ticket in the mail. Right?
ReplyDeleteIts not about breaking the law. If you are critical of the city government or the KCPD they will eventually use these cameras and license plate readers against you.
ReplyDeleteThey have tried this in others cities. Just wear a 'V' mask when you drive.
ReplyDeleteI say call this bluff. It will cost them so much and we can always wear driving masks.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get a Sly James mask?
ReplyDeleteDo the darkies even show up in the pictures?
ReplyDeleteAsk your mother!
DeleteThis sounds like a job for Kaptain KochBlocK and his merry band of calendar whores.
ReplyDeleteA fucking shame the citizens have to declare war on their own elected government, but it is damn sure way passed time.
