Kansas City Rap Music: Cashgang - 1Hunnid

This is our late night soundtrack as we do just a bit of background work on this blog and hope to catch-up with more than a few interesting items coming up this week.

But for right now . . . Check this Kansas City rap music clip that kind of reminds us of T-Pain with a hardcore local spin:

Cashgang - 1Hunnid (Official Music Video)

Take a look:

Great cinematography, hotties, pretty cool special effects, lots of local references and an altogether solid tune for the kind of Internets denizen reading blogs amid the late night.

Hopefully, we'll have more BREAKING/EXCLUSIVE NEWS, discussion, debate, discourse, and then all kinds of good stuff for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!

  4. Homage to T Pain, Puffy, Kanye, Drake, Busta, Lil Wayne/ Grill / 50 .......

Cent,,,,,, for y'all who don't know.....

FWIW: second half better than the first.. Kinda " mimick-y" / pay it forward-y suck uppy... Paying its dues I guess... Simple formula.. Talented people.. Would like them to push their edge and expand a bit more..

Great editing and some good light work... Designers did well... Really good sound quality for compressed/ shortened wavelengths ...., Nice switch up on the beat flow, great city shots... Repped KC's skyline and scene well....

    Sorry,,, old white guy talkin'...

It's pretty good production wise.. Decent developing skill sets behind the mic..

    Doesn't make it great rap...

Lotta unnecessary "bitches" and "niggers" and what not... But they're learning ,, honing their craft... Makes it all the better.,

    Peace..

  9. 2:26 AM what that guy said... + these guys need to push the envelope and become original... copycatting is NOT the key to success.

  10. Hate to say that I kind of like it, wish more video directors in KC would use their creativity.
