KANSAS CITY COOK FOR COURAGE CLIP!!!

Tonight, for those of us with no friends and looking at the Internets, let's take a quick look at Kansas City gourmet good deeds.

CHECK THIS BIT OF KANSAS CITY BBQ GOOD CAUSE CUISINE AND THE FIRST ANNUAL COOK FOR COURAGE!!!

"The Child Protection Center (CPC) is excited to bring to Kansas City its 1st Annual Cook for Courage! A big thank you to Oklahoma Joe's Kansas City BAR-B-QUE for helping to kick-off CPC's inaugural event as a leader sponsor! CPC's signature event will feature Kansas City's finest Chefs: 

- Ryan Brazeal of Novel
- Michael Corvino of The American Restaurant
- Colby Garrelts of Bluestem and Rye
- Howard Hanna of The Rieger Hotel Grill
- Patrick Ryan of Port Fonda
- Celina Tio of JULIAN, Collection, and The Belfry. 

These amazing chefs have generously chosen to share their gifts with CPC for the benefit of children in Kansas City."

From director Bobby Pitts this clip explores "The quintessential Kansas City flavor..." Obviously, it's BBQ or "smoke" according to these cooks for the local 1%.

In fairness, the Child Protection Center of Kansas City is a great cause and I'm sure that clicking their link might offer a variety of ways to help the institution without all the fuss of this luxury gourmet gluttony fest.

Still . . . If a few scraps get tossed aside to help the children, it's all for the best . . . Consider this a (feeble) attempt at a Kansas City public service message for tonight . . .
