TKC NOTE: Here's an update and note from our pal Craig about his weekend plans . . .
Memorial Day Weekend
Comedy Madness
Memorial Day Weekend may get a bit wet out there. So, if you are thinking about bringing your friends family and crew out to have fun, why not comedy this weekend at Stanford & Sons at the Legends.
Stanford’s had dedicated the month of May to area comics who had left Kansas City and gone on to film and TV. This week we complete that small group with former Kansas City guy now living in Los Angeles, Jon Scheiszer. Jon moved to LA back in 2006 and has since been seen on MTV, TNT, Comedy Central and HBO’s ‘Lucky 21’. Scheiszer’s brand of humor is that clean, observational opinions on life, everything from people driving with kids in the car to dating on the internet. Jon has become a staple at the Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. His big, thick, ZZ Top-style beard made him an easily recognizable comedy celebrity on the West side. Jon was able to land several big time soap opera appearances and food commercials this year, but the one demand was to shave that God damn beard. Money talks so the red beard walked.
Jon has invited several area comics to co-star with him Friday, Saturday and Sunday including Zack Smith, Patrick Moore, Tony Vinh, AJ and Craig Tonkinson. Have some fun with the boys this Holiday Weekend.
Next week the Tennessee Tramp from CMT; a female Larry ‘The Cable Guy’ and a KC favorite in her past two appearances, Janet Williams makes her return. Following that is ‘Jackass’ Superstar Steve O, who has also been seen on Dancing with the Stars, will make his Kansas City debut the first weekend of June. Another KC favorite, the super-funny co-star of Kevin Hart’s new movie, ‘The Wedding Ringer’, Colin Kane makes his return to Kansas City the week after that. Chippendales, The Cover Boys of Playgirl will make a 2 night stop June 16th and 17th followed by Ali Wong, star of ABC’s ‘Are you there, Chelsea?’
I will be in Los Angeles next week and amongst other things will make a guest appearance on Jim Jeffries podcast ‘Talking Sh*t’, along with his podcast’s co-host Eddie Ifft who will perform at Stanford’s at the end of June.

Nothing to see here folks........
Save yourselves a $100.00 tab folks. Stop by my house where we are drinking brew and telling dirty jokes around the BBQ grill.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? You're letting Craig post advertisements for his club as news now? Disappointed....
ReplyDeleteAnything for a buck. Right Tony?
ReplyDeleteWhere the fuck you been 4:39?
ReplyDeleteTry to get over your disappointment.don't let it ruin your weekend.
And yet....you dweebs are still here! Oh the life you must lead.

ReplyDeletewho is that geezer posing in front of the American flag,as if he were veteran,
ReplyDeletewearing a brillo pad on his head, shoe polish over his beard
his fingers scrunching up against his flabby arms, trying to portray himself as muscular?
He'd fuck u up.
ReplyDeleteGuy is in shape, no flabby nothin. I work out at Woodside and see him. For real.
ReplyDeletecaught GC's alleged BFF - T J Miller -- on Kimmel last nite -
ReplyDeletehe was a hoot talked about his "Silicon Valley" role, and working his way up the comedy foodchain
and .. no.. didn't bother to mention Stanfords .. or anything about KC
That's Eddie Ifft's podcast, not Jim Jeffries (he doesnt have a podcast). Jeffries may be a guest but it is Ifft's podcast.
ReplyDeleteCraig inflating his profile once again.
How much ya bench Craig?
So Craig is a jerk cause Miller didn't mention him on a show? Why would TJ do that, he's not playing Glazer's club anytime soon. You are an asshole pal.
ReplyDeleteI looked on wiki after watching LEgit on fxx on demand and saw it was cancelled.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that show was funny.
