CELEBRATE MORE KANSAS CITY URBAN CORE TRANSIT TAXES COMING SOON!!!

Luckily, Kansas City isn't spending all of their cash on a toy train intended to spike eco-devo schemes in an already overdeveloped part of town . . . Wait . . .

KCUR: Prospect MAX Bus Decision Expected From Court Soon . . . Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Marco Roldan is expected to hand down a decision that would allow an election to create a special transit taxing

On the bright side, Kansas City does need more cash for the bus given that the toy train streetcar is looting a great deal of it so that Staubio can have a nice location to take a selfie during the daylight hours when it's safe.

Developing . . .

  1. It's also to pay for the ultra expensive new logo and name. Check out KCLightrail on Twitter. How much will that cost? Who is getting kickbacks on that?

  2. I am a older Senior whose license was pulled for vision and forced to use KCATA. I put 75 cents in the fare box and full payers put 1.50. The Taxpayers put over 3.50. When will we address Mass Transit problems the KCATA is not interested the Feds will keep sending money

  3. This is complete and outright bullshit. Everything that comes out of the Streetcar propaganda machine is bullshit.

Look at any other small city attempting this (Cincy-Tuscon) and it's the same old hype. We got to be like Portland!! Development!! Competitive!! We'll be left behind!!!

People are being brainwashed into this crap.

  4. We passed a transit tax several years ago and now the city wants more money for transit. We passed a tax for the Fire Department a few years ago and now they want more money. How about an audit of these programs to see where the money really went?

  5. Sometimes I think that rail supporters privately snicker about how they can sell increasingly ridiculous projects to American politicians. “I sold a light-rail line that costs $100 million per mile and carries fewer people than a bus route.” “That’s nothing; I sold a streetcar line that costs $80 million a mile and carries only a quarter as many people as your light-rail line.”

  6. Fact check:

Streetcars and light rail both "carry more people" then buses.

Should have stuck with the "streetcars kill children" or "streetcars are unjust if black neighborhoods get to vote on them" or even the "they stole sewer money (to pay for SEWERS)" talking points.

Next red herring/outright lie from the 15%-ers...
