I want you to know that my feeling in real life are noting like the post made by the Polar Bear. I do not advocate violence against anyone. But I do like to shake the tree . . . Hopefully, it will get people to think about what is going on around them.

Just so you know where I stand in real life on a couple of matters . . .

Toy Train

I think this is a joke. The only people, in my opinion, that will benefit from the TT will be Sly and his sides that are laying in wait to raid the TT bank with consultants, studies, and additional international trips to further advance the TT. Sure seem Sly and the Gang are pushing the TT outside the mainstream. Perhaps ram-rod would be a better description of their actions. Must be a pile of money to be pilfered somewhere there. When the hogs fight at the trough.........

Black Crime in KC

The black crime epidemic in KC has reached critical mass. Something has to be done. Too many people are now trying to be politically correct. Perhaps stop and frisk would help stop some of the needless crime that is being committed primarily by blacks. The million dollar question is whether the KCPD is up to the task. Unless they take the gloves off, this will only get worse.

African-American Community in general

Two of my cocktail bud were commenting about the black issues in the United States a few weeks back. They made a couple of statements that I found profound. They stated "Welfare is the primary cause in the decline of the black race in the United States. They went on to state that many blacks find it easier to take the government money and do nothing. Just slide. There is little, if any incentive for blacks seek employment, get a quality education, or be productive with the government providing a safety net that basically pays them to be unproductive.

They also addressed the black family unit or lack thereof. Their take was simple. Education and work ethic. Many good black families work hard, pay their bills, do right by their family and are both successful and solid citizens. They sometimes work more than one job to provide education opportunities to their children that they did not have. Most educated black and black people with a work ethic are successful in this country. In today's USA there are ample opportunity for their success...if they want to be successful.

These two cocktail buds are both black doctors at a local Hospital. One is a neurosurgeon, the other a well known and respected cardiologist.

I love to bust your chops from time to time. I dog you about the "hipster" persona. And I punch you in the nuts from time to time with the Mexican, Taco, Burrito razz. Your a damn good sport and that speaks to your character. You must be one tough skin SOB to take the abuse you take running your blog. Most of the d-bags that read you blog have no idea how much time it takes to post up your daily menus of information. Furthermore, some of the same d-bags that rag on you would not have a clue what is happening in KC without reading your blog. Personally, I get quite bit of information from your blog. Some I agree with totally. Some I don't agree with but that's the world we live in. Take the information and make a educated self determination as to the validity and value of the information. I know you work hard to load pages every day...even if you are doing it at the coffee shop. It's still time consuming and takes effort. Thanks for your hard work so us d-bags can make stupid comments and hopefully see that there are differing opinions on matters.

Polar Bear

The Polar Bear is nothing like the person behind the avatar. In fact, truth be known, they are quite different. The Polar Bear can say some things that we can't say in normal every day conversation or at social events even though sometimes, "sometimes" it's exactly what we really think.
