We're already in the midst of Kansas City council campaign season and it's starting to get interesting . . .
NORTHLAND DISTRICT 1 COUNCIL DUDE DICK DAVIS IS NOT VERY WELL LIKED AND HE'S GETTING AN EARLY CHALLENGER IN HEATHER HALL!!!
Now, this is REALLY Interesting because she's backed by political members of the po-po and preempting our least favorite fire dude getting into the race.
In terms of politics . . .
POLICE POLITICOS WIN AN EARLY BATTLE AGAINST KCFD OLD SCHOOL LEGACY OPERATIVES WITH THIS CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT CLAIMING THE NORTHLAND AS COPLAND RATHER THAN FIRE TOWN!!!
If you can translate that last line . . . Then we congratulate your knowledge of KCMO politics and you probably don't work at The Star.
Here's the lady's website . . .
Heather Hall for City Council Kansas City District 1
And now the presser:
City Council Candidate Heather Hall Announces Campaign and Welcomes FOP Endorsement
KANSAS CITY, MO | Today longtime Kansas City resident Heather Hall announced her candidacy to run for Kansas City, MO, City Council District 1.
The Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Heather Hall in a recent Lodge meeting. “We support Heather Hall because she truly understands the steps that need to be taken to improve public safety by supporting those who protect our community. She is the leader we need to move the City forward in reducing crime, and protecting our children, by finding new and innovative ways to ensure that our community is safe,” said Brad Lemon, President-Elect of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 99.
“It’s a great honor to receive the support of the Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police. My husband, Eben, has served on the police force for more than 20 years. I will be unwavering in my support of public safety funding. The men and women of law enforcement risk their lives to keep our communities safe - we need a City Council that gives them the tools they need to safely do their jobs,” said Hall.
Hall has been a Kansas City resident for 20 years. Hall has more than 25 years of experience in project management and marketing and currently works with Clay County Tourism and Economic Development to attract quality jobs and positive growth in the Northland.
“It’s time for Kansas City to go from good to great. To get there, we need to have citizens on our Council willing to say no to out of control spending, increase funding for law enforcement and promote accountability within our City,” stated Hall, when asked why she decided to run.
In recent years, the Northland has seen the largest population growth in the Kansas City region. With its growth in size, Kansas City must develop basic infrastructure and promote safe communities.
“In the months to come, taxpayers in the 1st District can expect to see me knocking on their doors, asking for their vote and their support. I look forward to meeting voters and addressing their concerns in City Hall,” said Hall.

Good for her!
ReplyDeletewhats her position on unsolicited bulk email ?
ReplyDeleteBut will she be able to go pegging on Sly?
ReplyDelete3:11 lol
ReplyDeleteAll the cops live north of the river since they know its not safe elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteJust what KCMO needs - another economic development person owned by a city employee union. There are a few thousand people in KCMO living off the taxpayer. There are 400,000 supporting these few thousand but the 400,000 have zero representation.
"I will be unwavering in my support of public safety funding."
ReplyDeleteAbout time: How can you talk about public safety while not fully funding the police?
Anon 3:26
The police clearly need a council person who will speak for them. That they are deliberately underfunded is unconscionable. There is funding for what the elite wants, why doesn't the elite want to address local crime?
Dick Davis?
ReplyDeletemy given name is Richard too -- and I haven't gone by the nick name "Dick" for 40 years..
for obvious reasons
dude needs some PR help
Two questions:
ReplyDelete1. Is Dick Davis still alive?
2. How can you tell?
What a dud!
Bumfuck WV opinions about KCMO are irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteNow how about Byron funds himself and becomes a man of integrity?
No new airport, streetcar, or other initiatives that spend tax-payer dollars in an irresponsible manner.
ReplyDeleteShe's got my ear!
Opinions expressed by cowards with no name are irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteI was there, when Dick Davis announced his candidacy and it was a snore fest. This lady is attractive and might bring some style or class to City Hall. Bring her on!!!
ReplyDeleteHow does she feel about that POS Troy Schulte?
ReplyDeleteByron is a typical lying libtard. He promised to leave TKC when Mark was no longer Mayor
ReplyDeleteblah, blah, blah,
ReplyDeleteSee the previous post where I commented to your cut & paste comment. Rethuglican asshole.

Terry Murray, whoever the fuck that is.
ReplyDeleteI do fund myself & I do have integrity. You haters are stupid. That's why your comments are about me, instead of the post. I bother you? Good!
GO AWAY Byron my asshole hurts enough already!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! The police version of Councilbottie Candy Circo! Oh my :)
ReplyDelete609, who cares? Hes a long time southlander, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteWhoa, the other 609 comment got deleted. Wtf?
ReplyDeleteNo Byron You and the wife are disability scam artists and you have ZERO integrity. Lying, cheating and stealing is not part of the definition of integrity.
ReplyDeleteGlad she is running.
"My hubby served 20 years on the police force and I am proud to be endorsed by the FOP. Not only that but he fixed all of my tickets, I never got a DUI and the boys always made sure there wasn't a blemish on my records anywhere no matter what kind of shit I pulled."
ReplyDeleteI'd fuck her in the ass. Then cum all over her face and tits.
ReplyDeleteSilly. stop being a hater. She looks like the right kind of change we need at City Hall.
ReplyDeleteSTFU @649. Just STFU.
ReplyDelete6:49 You are too late, but maybe there will be a new line starting after the election.
ReplyDeleteIf she supports firing Schulte, I'd vote for her.
ReplyDeleteI'm not lying or stealing or cheating. My stalkers clearly have no life. They follow every one of my comments with their childish drivel.
ReplyDeleteYou dumbasses bitch about the violence, yet, absolutely refuse to fully fund the police department. Any council candidate who says they will support the police should in turn be supported.
I believe it is Byron that has no life other then what he can mooch of the system.
ReplyDeleteTake up funding the police dept with the people that make that decision.
Stalkers have a life. There life is stalking. Duh? I'm not mooching from the system, asshole. I love how you've all become disability experts, & can even make evaluations from a distance without contact or medical records. Amazing. As in, amazingly stupid.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to get a handle on your crime problem then elect people who are committed to fully funding the police department. You know, if you really want to do something about the crime. I suspect that many of you don't give a shit, because you've convinced yourself that it doesn't affect you. You pretend that's its all black on black, & you hate blacks, so if they kill each other, so what.
You miss the point. It effects how your city is perceived by outsiders. The GOP convention is a casualty of this perception. There will be others. No major corporations are going to locate in a city that has such disproportionate crime, & apparently no will to do anything about it.
The cops live up north so their kids can go to to good schools.
