Northeast News reports one small step to improve the Northeast as a bit of community cooperation helps police catch an alleged habitual illegal dumper.

Illegal dumper caught with public’s help

"According to Alan Ashurst, Code Enforcement Officer for the city’s Neighborhood and Housing Services Department, the illegal dumper showcased recently on the web pages of The Northeast News has been arrested and jailed an a multitude of charges, including a number of outstanding Jackson County warrants."

It's a small but important step in keeping the streets of Kansas City clean but shows that residents can stand against somebody making a stink in a local neighborhood.
