Gov. Brownback Recognizes Kansas Fossils

LJ World reports on artifacts that we all can agree are at least a few thousand years old . . . And then some: Kansas has a new pair of state symbols after Gov. Sam Brownback signed into law recognizing the Tylosaurus and Pteranodon as state fossils....

  2. I am actually quite surprised he acknowledges the existence of fossils. I'm sure this upsets a large number of his constituency. The Earth is 3,000 years old after all.
