DISCRIMINATION COSTS KANSAS CITY!!!

Here's a look at the price of old school attitudes and discriminatory workplace practices in Kansas City . . .

City approves $533,000 budget to settle discrimination, harassment lawsuits

Deets:

"The city’s finance and governance committee Wednesday approved spending $533,000 to settle discrimination and harassment lawsuits . . .

"Many of the recent settlements are the result of the city changing from part-time municipal prosecutors to full-time positions. Eight of the former part timers sued the city for age, race or gender discrimination.

"Two of the claims approved by the finance committee Wednesday were for former part-time prosecutors alleging discrimination because they weren’t hired for the full-time jobs. The two payouts total $448,000.

"Since last July, taxpayers have shelled out nearly $1.7 million to settle discrimination or retaliation complaints."

And here's more EXCLUSIVE insight on the topic . . .

Let's not forget that the Kansas City Fire Department is part of this mix, here's info on a HUGE LOSS for KCFD in a recent retaliation case.

And in terms of economic impact and every way imaginable it's clear that discrimination, harassment, retaliation and hateration in general are hurting Kansas City.

I thought Sly said he was going to make this problem better?

The city's own lawyers sued them? Who is the genius who was providing legal counsel when the conversion process was happening? Who is held accountable when the city settles? Are the tax payers in any way protected or is this kind of bureaucratic incompetence accepted as normal in Kansas City?

$1.7 million since last July?

That's like, what maybe an inch of lost Toy Train track?

Personal injury attorney Sly James says keep the payouts flowing, my attorney friends will soon be drinking wine again at JJ's on the Plaza.

Hey TKC, isn't that your favorite lawyer that just cost the city almost $300,000. If you paid taxes how much would you like her now?

Check the list of those who have been let go in the past few years. Lots of discrimination there.

Hey bottom!
It was poor judgment from city staff that cost the taxpayers.

You sound as silly as circo.

Is rather see these good former prosecutors get the coin. It's nothing compared to Burns and Mac monthly payouts. Put it in perspective.

It's not discrimination that costs money, it's the fucking niggers that are constantly looking for ways to get paid. Oh, and they find them too...

Funny, but Eric Sanders can pop up on the news after his "win" but hasn't been popped up at work since...

And the win was only $90k...the bottom feeding lawyers got over $200. Fucking lawyers.
