It's important for Kansas City residents to realize that their police are studying strategy in a part of the world that's locked down, hostile, deadly in embroiled in constant conflict . . . The real question that nobody is asking: How will the study of Israeli military strategy be put to use in Kansas City?

ReplyDeleteActually, Tony, 20 percent of Israeli citizens are Palestinian Arabs. They're on the Israeli Supreme Court, in the Knesset (parliament), in the armed forces and in police forces. They run large and small businesses. Some are very rich and others are very poor.
ReplyDeleteI'd be the last person to suggest that there is no discrimination against Israel's Arab citizens, or that all of them are happy living under a mostly Jewish government, but the fact is that they live better and are treated better than most of their cousins in Arab countries.
Americans love simple answers, but the situation in Israel is not simple at all.
The cops don't need more military toys, they just need to get out on the street and do some police work.

ReplyDeleteA friend and his family went to the middle east on vacation and said at first soldiers and cops all carrying machine and assault guns was sort of spooky till you noticed that didn't see too many acting up and the couple times they did was surprised at how fast someone shuts up and hits the ground when one of those guns is stuck in their faces. I am sure it would make me constipated for a month or so after my asshole puckered up so bad a piece of sewing thread wouldn't make it out. I'm all for it show more force and power. Make these punks know you have no problem in just wasting them.

We are, however, better off that he's gone for awhile. It gives the white officers on the department a moment's rest from having the black agenda shoved down our throats every day.

ReplyDeleteYou didn't explain the Citizenship and Entry Into Israel Law, which purposely discriminates against Palestinians. The government of Israel discriminates in order to maintain a Jewish demographic majority. Imagine the state of Missouri or Kansas discriminating to maintain a white Christian majority in population and representation in the legislature.
Latinos now outnumber Black Americans in the United States. What if there had been discriminatory policies in place to prevent this group from achieving these gains?
Also, to be clear, of your statistics:
Only 10% of the Knesset is non-Jew
Only 6% of civil service jobs are held by non-Jews.
Only 1 of 15 Supreme Court Justices are non-Jew.
