Making politicians less corrupt... That's a good one. Perhaps politics draws from the bottom of the gene pool and corruption is all they know. Perhaps it's a system designed by corrupt individuals that rewards political favors with political longevity. Whatever it is, the bigger government gets, the more tax dollars slosh around and the more opportunists appear to cash in.

If we want to get money out of politics, one of the first steps would be to ban union money. The unions are the largest contributors to political campaigns. I know that it is an Inconvenient Truth, but still true.
