Yes, it's a marketing gimmick but teams who win championships get a lot of leeway to pay the bills and probably even a pass on a few dead hookers in floating in the Missouri River under the Paseo Bridge . . . Thankfully, they don't pay the soccer guys enough to party like our pro-baseball and football teams.
