ReplyDeleteAnd I concur; I would take Funk back in a heartbeat. The crime would upset him. Even if he supported the streetcar project, he would not have allowed a KCPD hiring freeze in this climate. He might not have had the charisma or ambition of our current mayor, but he was open minded and pragmatic; two qualities that are missing from City Hall these days.
