KCTV5 Update: Protests held at Hobby Lobby over ACA birth control
hobby lobby is a privately owned company, it is not publicly owned.
ReplyDeleteIt is still a for-profit corporation, but why not let the Supreme Court decide? That's their job.
ReplyDeleteNo, this is still a "free country" and we're all supposed to be able to decide for ourselves. That was until the current dipshit got into the White House and started this Communistic program, known as Obama Care. More power to Hobby Lobby!!!!
ReplyDelete2:09 so i guess ppl must decide between making money/creating jobs, or their religion. scary choice
ReplyDeletejust don't offer any insurance. problem solved
ReplyDelete2:40 Religion or making money. Hmmm. Guess which one will win out.
ReplyDeletePeople are missing the point. Hobby Lobby offers a great healthcare plan for its employees. They actually pay above prevailing wages at their stores.
ReplyDeleteThey have no objection to offering birth control to their employees. They just do not want to pay for abortificaints, such as an IUD and the Plan B pill.
Are women so stupid and dependent that they can't get to the doctor or the drugstore to get these devices themselves? Nobody is banning them; there are just people who dont want to pay for these devices and drugs.
Women's "right" to birth control does not even enter into this argument. Planned Parenthood, this issue is a REAL LOSer. Go ahead and demonstrate in Mission. That's all we need are more angry, ugly women around.
There were FOUR people protesting at the Mission Hobby Lobby.
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, the tv cameras still showed up.
This town is so bush league it hurts.
Hobby lobby said: keep your reproductive issues out of my bedroom....or should I say pocketbook.
ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby said: I shouldn't have to pay for lazy whores abortions.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're saying prostitution is not gainful employment in a convention town or are you saying you support chattel slavery like Hobby Lobby and JE Dunn ?
ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby's minimum wage is $14 and hour. How many other retailers offer a starting wage that high?
ReplyDeleteMost of the employees at Hobby Lobby are women, so I think that Planned Parenthood is anti-woman. Why don't they like women? I would like to know.
