Toni Bones is our favorite Kansas City area activist for liberty and recently she ran into a bit of legal trouble.

Toni noted: "I am being processed and caged by the Independence Police Department for not having my slave identification card while driving my property."
I think that translates to driving without a license which is a big no-no.
Toni seys: "Unshackled from bench. Got my property back. Heading home. Trial May 1st with Gary Helm who probably remembers me quite well as the woman who refers to him as the man in the black dress to national media outlets. Should prove interesting."
Still, it seems like she had a good time with it . . .

We wish Toni the best of luck in this misdemeanor kerfuffle and realize that she's still one of the most exciting and intriguing local activists in all of the Greater Kansas City area.

That's the way it usually goes for white kids with screwed-up lives and need somebody to blame for it, so why not the government? They talk big, but never get around to acting.
Ordinarily, one does not get handcuffed and thrown in the pokey on a driver's license beef. Too much paperwork. Usually, there are outstanding warrants in play.
I'm pretty sure she was detained because she missed her court date on the not-having-a-DL-on-her while driving charge.It's hard to tell with her though.She uses hyperbolic language,sometimes to willfully confuse those she claims to want to educate.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at her facebook page, she admits to not actually having a copy of her license, er I mean slave identification card. The fact is, law enforcement officals do not usually take you to jail for simply not having your DL on your person. There is obviously more at play here. Does she have car insurance? Not likely. Is her car licensed? Doubtful. Oh, she managed to bring her cell phone with. What were her twelve children doing while she was on Facebook? There is obviously more going on here. This is a simple case of someone too lazy or stoned to pay the fees that are part and parcel of playing the game. She should stay in her trailer or wherever the hell she lives until she can accept the rules that are part of operating a motor vehicle. The police most likely did us a favor by taking her in without even realizing it.
