Somebody please tell me why it is only one certain race of people can guarantee violence when they congregate? Thousands of white people were drinking yesterday on St. Pats and not one of them shot anybody. Why is that? Not only that, nobody expected them to shoot anybody. EVERYBODY expected what happened today. The bar is set so low nobody is surprised. In fact, people are more surprised when there isn't violence where black people are concerned. Pathetic. I'll kick in some money for one-way tickets to Africa. I'm sure Africa doesn't want them either.

I was there today with my children. We got there at 11, left around 3. There were a lot of kids but they weren't being disruptive and we saw absolutely no violence. Some of the kids were loud, but they were kids, it's spring break and they were outside. My daughter dropped her stuffed bear and this black kid, couldn't have been older than 14 chased us down to give it back to her. Super sweet kid, said he goes to Paseo and plays the cello. I hate that all the black kids in this city get painted with the same brush when a handful of them get out of order. The ruckus happened after we left and from what I can tell the shooting was closer to Starlight than the zoo. I think better security in the parking lot is what was needed, the zoo itself was fine.

ReplyDelete10:39 I don't believe you, I doubt you were there or if you were you just didn't like being around so many black kids. This is pissing me off. Channel 5 said they got an influx of 4,000 people around 3. It was crowded but manageable up until that point. Yes, there were incidents near the front entrance and in the parking lot close to closing times and I bet it was a flash mobish kind of thing but while me and my children were there we had no problems. And like I said, a kid went out of his way to bring my daughter her bear after she dropped it. You all exaggerate everything on here. It was not bad until after 3, at least not in any of the areas we were in and we got through most of Africa and Austraila.

The overwhelming thing everyone tells me is the fraud that is committed on Africa by the US 'African Americans" - they don't understand why someone that has zero connection to the continent always refers to Africa when it is convenient to do so. These Africa folks are the most hard-working, faithful, respectful and kind people you will ever meet. They will give you the shirt off their back if you need it. It is such a travesty that USA blacks try to associate themselves with this proud group of people. They take pride in hard work and service to others - not the PLAZA version we've been reading about

Between the thefts from shoplifting Yoots, no doubt plenty of property damage and clean up, extra police presence, and the absence of actual consumers, this exercise in racial pandering was pretty fucking far from free. The negative PR will keep actual paying customers from visiting the zoo. Pardon the run on sentence and eat a sack of Penguin dicks.

I'm sure there were some good kids there. I bet that good kid you talked to has to go at the absolute furthest his/her first cousin to find a family member in prison.
