School board is a disaster anywhere there is a high concentration of Negros. That's an irrefutable fact. Detroit schools...

Education is often not the priority; power and control is. Everybody wants to be somebody and using these types of institutions to ascend through the social structure is unethical. Many, if not all, of the board members of the Kansas City Missouri School District do not have children actually in the district; or children at all. The same goes for Hickman Mills. It should be a hard fast rule that if you do not have children or a background in education, you are simply unqualified to hold a position on the school board.
Crispin Rea has no children or experience in education.
There's one former educator on the board.
Eric West has no education or children or background in education.
While Joe Jackson has some children who may be in the KCMSD program, he has no background in education.
When we stop electing people like these named above to positions where they have control over the most precious resource we have, our kids, then maybe progress can take place. For now, we're just spinning our wheels.
