The whole thing is likely overblown. I'm in the Jesse Jackson camp on this one. If you see a group of black teenagers, cross to the other side of the street. Showing a weapon just means you are not available to play the victim. The guy with the gun if he's trained and ccw permitted is not going to shoot unless the attack is pressed. This "be a man and fight" idea is silly in an adult. At my age I have no issue admitting a 20 year old thug can probably kick my ass. A CCW allows me to be fairly certain it will not happen.

I've nicely and repeatedly asked him to explain why poor white people in West Virginia and elsewhere are so much less violent than black people yet he simply will not answer. Judging by how often he posts at all hours of the day, this blog obviously means a lot to him.
