Take a look at local weather conditions and realize that neither the winter or a bit rain cured the ongoing dust bowl drought.
Not even the homes of the super-rich are safe from man-made climate calamity.
Here's a quick round-up:
KMBC: Hundreds of acres of dry grass and brush have been burning across the Kansas City metro for several weeks.
Fox4KC: Firefighters were busy all day, all thanks to the wind. Because of the conditions there were hundreds of fires in Kansas and Missouri just in a matter of 24 hours.
Channel 9: Winds whip up grass fires across the region
Developing . . .
I farted.
ReplyDeleteMr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteWhy in the world is our Mayor wasting time and lobbyists to fund the toy train when we need said lobbyists to keep our interests in how the Army Corp of Engineers jiggers with the local rivers. Really. Water rights will be very divisive as we continue into the new world of climate change.
