Last night KCPD once again maintained a strong presence on the Kansas City Country Club Plaza.
TKC TIPSTERS noticed about half a dozen patrol cars but no bus this time around . . .

Right now the murder count is now and Kansas City seems to be relatively quite . . . But the Summer ALWAYS bring increased violence and more demands on the KCPD. Very soon, it will be a question of resources and priorities that Kansas City will have to confront.
And so we're putting it to you:
HOW LONG CAN KANSAS CITY MAINTAIN THIS PRICEY PLAZA CRACKDOWN!!!
I'm taking credit for the newspaper coming up with a dollar figure in their next Sunday issue because we asked the question FIRST . . . What's more important is that even on a peaceful night it's important to realize that Plaza problems persist.

ReplyDeleteAs long as it takes is the answer. There is a police presence in the French Quarter every night of the week. There is a reason for that. They know where their bread is buttered. If the white people with jobs and discretionary income won't go to the Plaza, they will spend their money elsewhere. It's that simple. You already have a high-end restaurant in Ruth's Chris leaving. Is that in part because they are losing customers because of the lovely black "culture" that has permeated the area? You can bet your ass on it. It must be saved at all costs and cannot go the way of Bannister, Indian Springs, KCMO school district, or any other thing that black people touch that turns to shit.

In your family. Will they get mad? Are we safe? Can I get fired for making them mad? Will I get killed if I am too close to where they are? Will someone in my family get killed if they are too close to them. Will anyone be raped? Assualted? Robbed? Did I say something wrong? Did I say something wrong and someone heard it? Dowe have to move and spend more on gas and homes and schools yet again?
The government asks itself teh same questions on a larger scale. Did we give them enough money? Put them in jobs where they can't screw shit up? Will they hurt us by suing? Will they riot? Will they murder? ill they rape, assualt and rob? Do we have to give them more money?
If the President had a stupid, untrainable, violent pet, it wouldn't be a Pit Bull, it would be a Trayvon.

ReplyDeleteNiggs were afraid to go Plaza last night after the attack on the Polar Bear at Swoope Park Golf Club. Bear associates, heavily armed were positioned from Aldi on Troost down Brush Creek. Hood-rats were in fear. The attack will be avenged. Bearware, hood-rats.
ReplyDeleteJust like any major entertainment spot in any real city, they will have to maintain a permanent police presence. Have you ever been to Beal Street, the French Quarter, Central Park or really anywhere in New York, the various festivals in Chicago. These places all have heavy police patrols, on foot, on horses, on bikes, whatever it takes. It was a real gamble not having this all of these years.

Harvard sociologist Robert Putnam has completed an important study of more than 30,000 North Americans and concluded that – especially if you live in ethnically diverse cities such as Toronto, Vancouver or Los Angeles – it’s likely you are “hunkering down.”
Since geographers rank Greater Toronto and Metro Vancouver respectively the third and fourth most “hyper-diverse” cities in the world – more than 45 per cent of the residents of each metropolis are born outside the country – Putnam’s findings are more than relevant to these regions.
Indeed, when the Vancouver Foundation recently conducted a massive survey of Metro Vancouver residents, researchers discovered most people in this West Coast city feel unusually high levels of loneliness and lack of friends.
People in diverse urban regions tend to seek shelter in their own little worlds. “Diversity, at least in the short run, seems to bring out the turtle in all of us. … The more ethnically diverse the people we live around, the less we trust them.“
Putnam adds an additional disturbing discovery – that “in-group trust, too, is lower in more diverse settings.” In other words, people also become more distrustful even of members of their own ethnic group.
“Inhabitants of diverse communities tend to withdraw from collective life, to distrust their neighbours, regardless of the colour of their skin, to withdraw even from close friends, to expect the worst from their community and its leaders, to volunteer less, give less to charity and work on community projects less often, vote less … have less faith that they can actually make a difference, and to huddle unhappily in front of the television,” Putnam writes in his report E Pluribus Unum: Diversity and Community in the 21st century.

ReplyDeleteNot sure it matters, ultimately. I read on the inter webs that all malls are in deep doodoo. Nobody (at least nobody who can afford to shop in a serious way) goes to malls anymore. Malls are so uncool now that teenage girls don't even hang out in them anymore.
ReplyDeleteHanging out? The kids do that on Facebook or Twitter or whatever. Buying retail goods? People do that at Amazon.com and eBay. They deliver to your door, often for nothing.
Just bought me a new teevee. Load that thing into my car at some damn mall and schlep it into my house? Hell no. Ordered it online from the Great God Costco (it goes without saying that I got a great price), and they delivered it to my door at no extra charge.
Malls are over.
You put your resources where they can be effective. All the policing in the world will not stop the thugs from killing one another.

We saw a young black girl whi eas trying to get her crazy or drunk mama under control but when management came to help both the mama and girl turned ridiculously rude.

ReplyDeleteFuck the plaza, I have lived here for 14 years and have never spent money there. The plaza is for rich people, and with that said they should move it to Johnson Co. If you put a High dollar shopping district in a poor ass state, I cant imagine why so many think trouble wont show up!.

ReplyDeleteSince Bear Associates, armed and ready, took over Plaza Security, there have been no Negro issues. One was mutilated on Brush Creek and the troupe disbanded and ran like rats going overboard.
