  2. "Kansas offers incentives to lure people back to the plains". Kansas is in denial about the water situation, & a lot of other things, as well.

  3. The very same farmers in Western Kansas who are so worried about the aquifer (as everybody, not just farmers should be) will continue to vote for politicians who deny climate change and are willing to make changes to help recharge the water supply. They will keep voting for the politicians who they think are "good Christians," value the 2nd Amendment over almost everything other than God, and are in favor of building the Keystone Pipeline over that very aquifer. This is what low-information voters get you. So many people in this state vote against their own best interests it's astounding.

  4. As usual, the voters of Kansas vote only for anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-anyone of any color, other than white, anti-any religion, other than extreme fundamentalist catholic or protestant. They do not give a flying fuck about anything else.

  5. Fucking bushwackers. Missouri the slave state with mobs on the plaza and at the zoo. Meth and plenty of white trash white nationalists. Why do companies leave Missouri to come to kansas? Might be a little better over here.

  6. But Kansas does not allow crack sniffing assholes like Byron.

  7. If companies come to KS because it "might be a liittle better" why the the small gubmint redstate free makreters have to offer EVERY company that moves there UNPRECEDENTED CORPORATE WELFARE.

So much so that The Economist writes a story about it. And why can they only lure businesses to a suburb of a city in Missouri?

How come, if things are so peachy, they can't lure business and residents to Topeka, Salina, Wichita? Maybe its because none of them are right next to a large city with amenities, nightlife, culture and an actual sense of place...
