David Brenner Of Tonight Show Fame In Coma
A good pal of mine and a man who stood up for me in 2001 and wrote the judge to try and protect me in that federal case, David Brenner will be gone at weeks end. David has cancer, fast acting, in a coma and will not recover. So sad. What a great comic and entertainer. He hosted the Tonight Show for Johnny more than anyone else. Such a charming, kind person. I am very sad about it. Jimmie Walker emailed me last night about it, they are best friends. This morning he said no hope. Damn.

Of course this doesn't count sports page players or political figures. As a private citizen. His Vern Miller case had more than 100 stories alone in the 70's. The 90's were film, Stanfords, lawsuits,and his private life. Hearne had more than 150 stories on Glazer from 93-2007 alone.

I am related to Craig and the Glazers. Craig Glazer was a Special Agent employed by the Kansas Attorney General's office in 1974. He was a law enforcement officer. His records show he never gave up anyone ever. It's on file. Not in LA or KC. If you want to call him a snitch cause he was a cop so be it, but then I guess we all are that right? Those of you who want to say that know it isn't true. Craig went through three criminal cases in three decades. One when he was a cop, one in LA a federal case and the last one in KC a federal case. If you stand trial you aren't giving anyone up.

David Brenner passed today actually. It is now on news wites all over. The family didn't want to talk about it til after he was gone. He left with a couple jokes "leave 100 bucks in my sock, just in case I need to tip up there"....
