KANSAS CITY ACTIVIST ALONZO WASHINGTON FACT CHECKS HIS CRITICS REGARDING SOCIAL MEDIA NUMBERS AND HIS CRIME-FIGHTING ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!!
Something also worth pointing out is that Mr. Washington is often the subject of national press coverage which treats him far more kindly than Kansas City newsies.
Here's the statement:
Alonzo Washington: "My twitter is about crime & giving tips. I'm not going to get followers from that publicly. Think about it. The tips hotline is city funded & is promoted by the media on every broadcast or publication. The organization is the premiere crime fighting organization in the city with a staff of mostly cops. I am one black guy doing everything they do with no staff, promotion from the press or funding. I have 382 followers & the tips hotline has 430. They have slightly less than 50 more followers than me. This means my one man show of anti-crime advocacy is incredible in a city that doesn't care about crime . . .
Anything, I say on my twitter becomes a issue. People don't want to publicly follow me but they read what I say!
The fact is that it's amazing I get tips, solve crimes & have many followers in a city full of apathy when it comes to murders. People don't give tips in KC for the most part. Why would anyone expect me to have thousands of followers when a the top promoted, city funded ,white crime organization only has (slightly more) followers than me?"

Maybe a real news story should be done showing the real Alonzo and his scams. How he lives and how he gets by sponging off others. For the record I don't follow this ass clown on tweeter dick and outside of TKC same as never see him till he pulls some media stunt to gain attention. Why isn't this crime fighter down on the say Plaza area helping with keeping the kids in line? Simple fact is he knows they would either pop a cap in his ass or stomp him till nothing but that greasy shit he wears on his hair is left to stain the sidewalk.

The suspect is known to frequent comic book shops, movie theaters, and Buick dealerships attempting to bilk them of promotional items. Additionally, he can typically be observed wearing sunglasses (indoors or out), and seemingly talking to himself while holding a hand to one ear. He may launch into a paranoid racist tirade at any time. If spotted, do not approach, but instead dial 911 and request the Apprehension Unit from the Kansas State Hospital for the Mentally Insane.

ReplyDeleteA while back someone confronted him on his twitter account about that sight (I forget what it's called) where he supposedly gets his youth crime tips. The person had spent hours going though all the results that came close to the sight he named. When he called him out on it al Alonzo did was retweet the tweet but never answered the question of where to find that sight. Why? Because it doesn't exist.
