THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY IS ALREADY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SEARCH FUNCTION ON THE CITY'S WEBSITE THAT IS ACTUALLY WORSE THAN THE OLD ONE!!!
Go ahead and try it, your search for just about any item will return nearly the same results that are virtually useless.

ReplyDeleteThis website is terrible! Horrid layout. Totally ugly. Is the city getting free design from community college students??? Just bad design all around. Did no one test this thing before going live? I needed info from the city this morning and the search feature was a total failure. The site map was a failure. When I finally found what I was looking for the page came up 404.

ReplyDeleteOh Great! Now this site is just as cumbersome as calling City Hall. Every call washes up in the 311 Bermuda Triangle. Looking for a phone number and the staff won't transfer your call.
Lord how I hate this James Administration. He focuses his work hours on his law firm and his legacy not the day to day tasks of running an efficient government.
+1 5:55pm. The only exception is that James has no notable legacy.

Sly and the gang's definition of "efficient government" is the ability to pass large sums of tax money to insiders and special pleaders without the public finding out about it until it's way too late.
ReplyDeleteThus the raiding of TIF accounts, scouring of every line item looking for streetcar dollars, misappropriating infrastructure maintenance money, and endless emergency appropriation ordinances.
About the only way you could get more efficient would be illegal wire transfers and we're not quite there yet.
And NONE of it for services that are actually important to the people who live here.
Apparently you CAN fool most of the people most of the time.
Make a fucking donation so you can have a politician hep you!

ReplyDelete10:12pm...What are you talking about? The KCMO IT Dept (or whatever they call it) is located in the building between the Municipal Court Building and the Police Dept Building.
